New Realities Co-Founders

Orit Morse, MA, RP

Orit Morse is co-founder of New Realities and a Registered Psychotherapist with 25 years of counselling experience currently focusing on recovery from trauma and eating disorders. Orit has facilitated groups at Sheena’s Place as well as the Trauma Resolution Centre. She provides individual and family counselling in both these areas. She is also a parent educator, guest lecturer and facilitates workshops on topics such as marriage and family issues, addiction recovery and many other areas of personal growth.

Orit is certified in psychological testing and has experience in psychological assessments and counselling with special-needs client groups. She has had extensive counselor and organizational development training and completed an M.A. degree in Counselling Psychology at the Adler School of Professional Psychology.

Orit is a member in good standing with the Academy of Eating Disorders (AED) and the North American Society for Adlerian Psychology (NASAP) as well as a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists. (OACCPP). She was a student of psychodrama as well as other body-oriented therapies.


Patricia Kelly, MA, RP

Patricia Kelly is a co-founder of New Realities and a Registered Psychotherapist with 30 years of professional experience with binge eating, compulsive overeating, bulimia, anorexia and body image issues. She has worked in general hospitals, addiction treatment and private practice. She provides individual and group counselling as well as workshops for those with eating disorders. She facilitated groups at Sheena’s Place for 10 years. She also conducts workshops and presentations for helping professionals, teachers, students, women’s groups and employees.

Patricia holds a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto (post-graduate studies in community nutrition) and the University of Guelph (B.H.Sc.). She is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists (OACCPP).
